News from the library

Annual Library Booksale: Wondering if the Fourth of July Library book sale will prevail? It's happening! We even have some exciting events lined up to coincide with your book-shopping experience. Everything will take place at the Town Hall. Mark your calendars!

Book Sale Hours:

Friday, June 29th 4-9 pm. Book sale plus Bluegrass-Americana music by Remember Baker from 7-9pm.

Saturday, June 30th from 9 am-2 pm (with a break for the parade!) Books sale plus parade themed crafts for kids of all ages (drop-in) from 9-11 am.

Donations: We are accepting book (and DVD and Audio CD) donations at the library! PLEASE read through our donation guidelines before bringing them in, and limit donations to two boxes a day, and never leave books outside the library if we are closed! Thank you!

New Library Hours starting July 1st: We are thrilled to unveil new hours at the library starting in July. We will be open from 10 am-7 pm on Tuesday through Friday, and from 10 am-3 pm on Mondays and Saturdays. We hope the hours will be easier to remember and accommodate more of our community’s library needs. We look forward to seeing you more often!

Stream and Download Music at the Library: Coming on July 1st, we will not only debut new hours, but we will also host a new music streaming and downloading service called Freegal. Accessible online (all you need is your library card!), patrons will be able to stream and download many different types of music from the internet! Freegal offers access to approximately 15 million songs from over 40,000 labels. Keep your eyes peeled for informational classes that we will be offering this summer to teach you how to use this exciting new service.
